Founded in 1996 by the enigmatic Paul Maitland Smith, Theodore Alexander has become eminent in its field over the decades.  Paul was an industry legend who pioneered high end furniture production throughout Asia for the last 25 years and was eventually inducted into the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame in 2019.  Paul was also a collector of antiques from a very young age and as his career progressed, strived to create antique reproductions better than even the originals.
