BiggsHistory and Information about Biggs Furniture

Traditional American Reproductions with Lasting Appeal

Biggs Furniture, based in Richmond, VA was once a leading U.S. manufacturer of colonial reproduction furniture.  The company flourished in the 20th century, alongside reproductions by the Kittinger Company and other mass market reproduction brands like Ethan Allen and Pennsylvania House.  In their time, Biggs provided furnishings for the White House and the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.  In 1975, the company was purchased by the Kittinger Company and it became the Biggs Division of Kittinger.  The Biggs Division was licensed to produce the Old Dominion Collection, Old Sturbridge Village Collection and Thomas Jefferson Furniture Reproductions.

If you have used Biggs furniture pieces that you are looking to sell or liquidate, be sure to contact us for buyout and consignment terms. We are always looking for nice clean Biggs items from all years and collections.
