The set consists of a pair of arm chairs and 10 side chairs all in nice dark rich finish with high sheen and also have 22k gold gilded accents, originally done by Kindel when purchased new. This alone was a very expensive upgrade for these chairs. The chairs are copies of originals dating from 1760 and are made exactly how the original chairs were, as the side chairs being made of cherry and the arm chairs being made of Mahogany. They have hand-carved details, ball n claw feet, shell carvings and shaped slip seats. These chairs are approx. 10-15 years old and are in excellent clean original condition also boast high quality fabric that had a cost of over $125 per yard when new.
